Hotell Fröding named after the Swedish poet Gustav Fröding, is located at the pedestrian street in the centre of Kristinehamn. Close to restaurants, boutiques and banks the hotell offers rooms in a cosy environment for both families and businesses.

The city of Kristinehamn is an idyllic port city in the middle of Sweden. Beautifully situated on the northeast coast of  Lake Vänern, the largest lake in Sweden, the city of Kristinehamn is also famous for its 15 meter high sculpture. Sculpted by Pablo Picasso, the artwork is the largest that has been designed by the well-known artist.

 
The city offers many experiences. Those who prefer a more active life are attracted by fine canoeing-,  kayak -, and fishing waters, hiking tracks, trolley car trips, an exciting go-cart track.Not to forgot the paintball ranch and one of Scandinavia’s most modern bowling alleys. The surrounding nature is also suitable for biking- and mountain bike tours. In addition there are nice, family friendly beaches.
 
For those interested in golf there is a golf course with 18 holes in a beautiful scenery. The course is a challenge even for professional players.
